I currently have the same problem to communicate between my IV4 and a S7-1200. I easily did that with an IV3 by removing the unused slot's and output area from profinet device. I tried with an S7-1515 but I got an other profinet error. I can't establish a communication.

Can you give more details about the error? Perhaps a few screenshots of the compiling errors and your device overview configuration.

I switched my programm on a CPU 1500 and it's working. I still don't know why it wasn't the case on the S7-1200 but I can't send you any screenshot at the moment          Thank's a lot

If someone figured it out how to use it with a 1200, I'm interested in the solution.
