Hello all

I still have version 8.3. Looks like it was installed properly on my mac m1 along with LWE v1.

However when i m trying to run  the LogoComfort! nothing happens. The LWE works fine (installed together). I have installed both corretto 8 and later 11 but still nothing although it looks like it was installed normally.

any idea ?

Split from Installation & use of LOGOComfort 8.4 on macOS 15 (Sequoia).

LOGO!Soft Comfort V8.3 is not compatible with Mac OS V15 nor Corretto Java.

Therefor I recommend using V8.4.1 as named in the original post:

A few years ago, I had LogoSoft Comfort upgraded from version 8.2 to 8.3 on macOS 11.  After the upgrade, my macOS has been updated to macOS 12 and macOS 13.  LSC 8.3 was still working fine.  For some reasons, I had to repeat the upgrade from LSC 8.2 to LSC 8.3, but this time on macOS 13, but it did not work.  Furthermore, in September 2023, the upgrade to LSC 8.3 was not available anymore on Siemens web site (but I still had the downloaded copy).  I did not investigate at the time, but I guess that the upgrade package downloaded from the web site had the same problem as the 8.4 package.  It has something to do with execution attributes and macOS security.

In early 2024, I have purchased the DVD of the LSC 8.3 (version 8.4 was not available at the time).  Version 8.3 did install fine from the DVD.  I have tried on both macOS 13 and 14.

This is my experience about LSC 8.3 and compatibility with macOS.
