Sinamics S120 F30071 No new actual values received from the Power Module

Tech Ahmed Advanced Member Joined: 1/16/2012 Last visit: 6/30/2025 Posts: 127 Rating: (2)	Dear Experts, A small S120 frequency drive is tripping on F30071 "No new actual values were received from the power module fault". We removed the control unit and cleaned the connection between the power module and the control module. We also ensured that the control unit was properly seated on the power module. After cleaning the drive ran for some hours but again tripped on the same fault. What else would I need to check? I have checked the manual and the only remedy is to check the interface (adjustment & locking) to the power module. Please guide. Best regards, Tech Ahmed

You can re-config topology using other ports "Code: F30071 Version: V05.20.69.00 Description: No new actual values received from the power unit Message value: - Message class: Internal (DRIVE-CLiQ) communication error (12) Drive object: A_INF, B_INF, R_INF, S_INF, SERVO, SERVO_AC, SERVO_I_AC, VECTOR, VECTOR_AC, VECTOR_I_AC Reaction: OFF2 Acknowledge: IMMEDIATELY Cause: The number of actual value telegrams from the power unit module that have failed has exceeded the permissible number. Remedy: Check the interface (adjustment and locking) to the power unit module."
