Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	Nope, a simple rename from .SAV to .PDL is all you have to do. I have done this many a time when I make a change, hit the save button and THEN realise that I've made a mistake [:xxx:]

ranr_mids Posts: 289 Rating: (19)	There have been one or two instances where I have had to modify WinCC graphics on a Customer machine, and the 'demo' period expired. Trying to exit the command I was using proved either futile (WinCC wouldn't 'exit' because doing that would mean doing something else other than shut down, causing me to have to terminate the graphics editor) or corrupted the file anyway during the shutdown process. Having a backup file to fall back on is better than nothing.
