The city of Aurora, OR has a mag flo 5000 installed down stream of a well designed to supply city drinking water. Each day the utility workers take a number from the totalizer 1 which is always present. However lately, instead of showing the totalizer 1 all that is present on display shows:

..POWER ON

LUI VER 2.22

Nothing we press (out of the six buttons present) seem to do anything. It seems as if the display is stuck on showing the above. If we shut off main power to the mag5000 sometimes it will show the totalizer 1 and totalizer 2 for a few seconds before going back to:

..POWER ON

LUI VER 2.22

If anybody has experienced this issue please reply. We just want the totalizer 1 to show all of the time like before. No idea why it shows the same screen it does now and why none of the buttons work. Its been this way for a week or so. The mag5000 is still recording flow, just not displaying totalizer 1.

This is a user forum, not a factory support forum, so Siemens staff do not normally monitor this forum.

The reason that's important is the the description of your problem makes it sound like the meter might not be functioning properly.   As users, we run into non-performing devices but there are far more failure modes and therefore failure symptoms than we users normally see on a regular basis.

Which means that you should probably submit a support request to the SIemens staff because the Siemens factory people deal with the same product day in and day out and hear all the multitude of faults and symptoms that occur for various issues.

Whatever the outcome, feel free to come back here to the user forum and provide an update, because that's the only way that other users get exposed to problems that they do not see themselves with their equipment.

The "Support Request" button is in the center of the menu bar at the top of this web page.

It's a multi-step process, and you need to know the beginning of the model number of Mag5000 which likely to be a number like 7ME69 in order to identify your product (names don't work, only model numbers).
