Hello all, and apologies for what i think may be a relatively easy fix.

I am an apprentice electrician and have been given a project by my Boss to develop a running light program, controlling 2 groups of 5 lamps triggered by individual inputs I1 and I2.

My chase sequence works fine in both cases, however when i stop the sequence Q1 and Q6 always stay high. I have tried numerous ways to have all lights off when sequence stopped, but alas no luck, and the solution eludes me. I have attached my prog and was hoping someone may be able to help me.

What you didn't take into account in your circuit is that every "off" light is also a switching stage. Expand the groups by one stage each and leave the first one free as an output.

Your program requires many blocks. If you want the clock rate to always be the same, try implementing it with counters and analog differential threshold switches.
