WP341: Change FB number

Pin Francesco Joined: 9/25/2023 Last visit: 7/2/2025 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm using the FB for WP341 from the example project "WP341_READY_FOR_USE". My only question is: can I change the FB number? Actually it is FB1, which is already used from the safety. Is it possible to change or I must change the safety's FB? Edit: when I compile the PLC, it will be renumbered to FB2 due (I'd like to change it to a fixed number but ok). My problem now is: when compile ends, I have the error "An internal consistency error has occurred. Please compile the program in this CPU again. The following blocks could not be compiled: WP341 [FB1]" I tried to renumber the safety's FB, rebuild hardware, rebuild software and nothing changed... Thanks

Which number do you want to use? In which TIA Portal version are you working (TIA V16, V17, V18., …)? I can change the FB number for you, if you want. Best regards Siwarexi

Which number do you want to use? In which TIA Portal version are you working (TIA V16, V17, V18., …)? I can change the FB number for you, if you want. After compiling, I've got the alarm 604:864 "An internal consistency error has occurred. Please compile the program in this CPU again. The following blocks could not be compiled: WP341 [FB1000]". Months ago I did the commissioning of five WP321 and I had no problem at all. I tried to copy-paste the type, function, rebuild HW and SW but nothing happened.
