I've a question about SITRANS TH300, I need HART DD file of it for using with HART 475. I didn't find any related to it. SIEMENS has EDD (for PDM), DTM (for PACTWare) and AMS Trex. Is there any way to convert any those files to DD file used in HART475?

Split from HART Extensions problem.

There is no publicly known means of converting one device description file from one format to another format.

If the manufacturer does not supply the driver file, then you're limited to the few generic HART commands.

Even if you had a DD for the TH300, could you add the DD to a 475?   

Statements on the Emerson web site state that there is no support for the 475 and I thought that some kind of web connection or subscription (limited) software was needed to add a DD to a 475.

Well I gotta say that I've DD file for TH300 but it's version is “HART v4”. but I need version 5 and above to connect to newly manufactured TH300. In SIEMENS website, There are EDD for PDM, DTM for PACTWare and EDD for AMS Trex. I heard (from dome forums) that it's possible to convert those file to each other but i don't know how and i don't know is it possible to convert HART v4 to HART v5 or not.
