How can I import the 6ES7155-6AR01-0AN0 into v17.

I've only got ***-6AR00-*** & it doesn't like that.

I've tried updating the HSP hoping it would be in there, but not luck. Any ideas?

you don't, there is no HSP.
You can either use the GSDML, or as far as I can see you parametrize the 6ES7155-6AR00-0AN0 in your project while the 6ES7155-6AR01-0AN0 is plugged. This should work from my point of view, because here it is clearly stated that the 6AR01 is the spare-part compatible successor of the 6AR00: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109977725

I'm getting a lot of angry red LEDs because it wasn't happy with the 6AR00. Maybe because of the firmware; 6AR00 will only go as high as 3.2, whereas the 6AR01 is sitting at 6.3. Too big of a leap between them?

Tell your project you have the -6AR00- and the -6AR01- will behave as if it were the -6AR00- (because it is a spare parts compatible device for the -6AR00- per the prior reply).

Whatever you think makes you a moron will likely make most of our fellow forum users also morons since we have all done a lot of things along our learning that we look back and may describe as not too smart.

What was your user error?  Just curious.  We can all learn from our own and other people's user errors.
