My colleague has asked me to export a DB from TIA so he could import it into SCADA. He gave me a small guide (attached image) and a Siemens software download link. However, after having installed SIMATIC SCADA Export for TIA Portal, I see no menu item "Export to SIMATIC SCADA".

Could someone help me on that?

you have no tia right?

you must use second (right) option "Load from File" in WinCC.

Do you use WinCC v7.x right?

I do have TIA Portal V15.1.

I just have no idea on how to use and where to find "Export to SIMATIC SCADA"

is integrated in contextmenu of PLC.

select PLC right Mouseclick on it then at the end of the menu .

After having installed SIMATIC SCADA Export for TIA Portal, I  also see no menu item "Export to SIMATIC SCADA".

PLC  menu right Mouseclick  at the end of the menu  shows the  item  “Propeties”.

The list of installed components shows the  Export to SIMATIC SCADA.
