...going the same path i once did, trying to import dbs, using this tag converter, meddling with generic printer etc...eventually i gave up. In this state of human knowledge there is no way to import dbs into wincc flexible (someone prove me wrong please).
so, the only way is to integrate wincc flexible project into step7 project in which way you have all data blocks from step7 program available for use in wincc flexible. when you select for particular db data for e.g. animate a lamp, then the tag is copied into wincc flexible project.
Now, when you have several hunderd analog signals for scaling, you have to make a tables, all the same and you hope you can use at least find and replace feature but no...you must do it one by one becase data from data block is only imported into wincc flex when you select it, but you can not use then find and replace feature...
someone prove me wrong.

Hi, i've see evrything and also the film, very useful and very simple. But the problem is that on my PC the Tag Converter doesn't work.

I think that the problem is the file made by Generic/Text printer.

Because if i use the .sdf file all works fine.

Is possible have a file print of a DB?

So i can check where is the problem.
