Is it possible to use individual bits of a tag of data type "Word" in "Symbolic IO Field"?

Marqim Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Good day, colleagues. Please, help me to solve one little problem. I want to use individual bits of a tag of data type "Word" in "Symbolic IO Field" for mode "Two states". I choose this tag in "General" tab of this object properties, but "Bit number" fieldis inactive. What should I do in order to activate this field?

But I cannot access individual bits of this word in "General" tab of "Symbolic IO Field" object. Field "Bit number" is inactive. Is it possible to activate it? WinCC flexible Advanced 2007; OP77B.

Jeebs Posts: 218 Rating: (28)	His reply was an answer to your question. Go to Text lists. Create new text list. In selection, you need to select Bit(0,1) In your Symbolic IO Field you now select this text list. And now you will be able to select which bit you want to link it to. Without a text list that option will never be available. EDIT: Also you need to configure it as Input/Output, not as 2 states.
