I am fairly new to programming, but I have been tasked with coming up with a program for test purposes. Here is the situation; we have several different profibus networks. For the most part they are the same, from profibus address to DI/DO configuration. The problem is with the smallest and the largest networks. In the case of the smallest network, the ET200 will have a different address, which happens to be the same as another device on the other profibus networks, and the largest network ET200 has a few more DI/DO modules than all the other ET200’s, but the same profibus address as the other ET200’s. Is there a way to configure multiple devices with the same profibus address in the Step 7 Hardware Configuration? I will only be testing one network at a time.

You can create sepearate Profibus Subnets in Project. If they belong to different master systems, you can have different slaves with same slave address on separate subnets.
