Both WinCC and WinCC flex are quite new to me, so this question may look a little ridiculous to some, but it's better to ask because sh... happens

I have this flex project that has been running for 4 years, so i guess it was build with flex 2005. I was asked recently to add a few tags and to make some changes on a few screens. First of all i had a few problems connecting to a MP270B because i only have a usb-pc adapter and according to Siemens this is not supported for downloading projects to a MP270. So i'm working on getting a host-to-host usb cable.

But my question is that since i'm using flex 2008 to edit a project built with flex 2005, will i have problems when downloading the modified version to the MP270B? Will the runtime work? Or do i have to update the runtime on the panel?

If the answear to the last question is yes, how can i do it?
