How to communicate mm4 with pg using rs485 terminal

simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	Dear all, I want to communicate drive monitor with mm4 drive using RS 485 terminal of mm4. How can i do it. Which convertor will work. can i make use of pc usb adaptor or PC PPI cable as a 485 - 232 converter. Pls suggest simatic manager

Tractor Gold Expert Joined: 3/27/2008 Last visit: 12/30/2025 Posts: 1235 Rating: (149)	I use a 232 to 485 converter which was produced for the Micromaster 410, this is useful for connecting to Micromasters whilst the keypad display is fitted. When using this connected to terminals 29/30 on the MM440 you are using 'serial Interface COM link', so this is where the baud rate can be set, P2010:0.
