CNC Chennai Posts: 177 Rating: (2)	Dear Experts 1) In ET200s module rack, How to find out which module is faulty. 2) In HMI screen Profibus Diagnosis is apperaing in RED , GREEN ,YELLOW ,BLUE . How it has Programmed. 3) In the attached Photo after Replacing this module , SF and Profibus Fault Reseted . In Case If I don`t have this module and the Outputs are also not needed , what is other possibility to make machine Running. Siemens Experts , Pl Guide me . If outputs are not needed and module is not there, normally you should be able to run the machine if no permissive with rack/module faults has been programmed. In other words you need to look in the program. Regards

But it is Showing RED / mark in the perticular rack ( Example Node 11 in attached sheet) .Inthat rack any one module will be faulty . Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Sonata, 1. Can you post a screenshot of your HW config in online mode? The earlier screenshot is offline. 2. If module is missing there will be SF fault because there is a mismatch between the HW config and actual HW. So to remove the SF you can modify the HW config and download (but be cautious). Regards

Before Changing the shown module , I really don`t know which is output Module is Faulty , I had replaced randomlly . After repaling the show module it has bcome ok. My Question is is there is any option to find whichDO card is faulty , instead of replacing randomly. Regards Sonata

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Sonata, The red "\" (and theModule not available message)on the IM151means that the Profibus link between the IM and the CPU is not OK. The first step is to make this link OK.Check if the Profibus address matches the physical address. Once the link is good and there are still some faults within the rack (because ofIO modules for example) you will no longer see a red "\" but a red "x" (within a circle). You'll also see red "x" on the problematic IO module and right-clicking on this module will tell you the reasonfor the fault. Regards
