Buddy it seems the encoder card is not properly fitted in the slot. Because you can not access encoder selection parameter without placing encoder option card.

I am attaching one file for the sequency of installing the encoder card, after placing carry out master reset P0010=30 , P0970=1 it will show you busy sign for a lil while and will remain on P0970.

Now Access P0003 = 3 ( Access Level expert) and carry out the quick installtion and later programe all your encoder parameters.

This will sure help you out.

you must go to Quick Commitioning (p10=1 ) after that you can change p400.
this parameter is changable via Quick Commitioning mode
