Why do you think you need 4 cores? 2 Cores is all you need for RS485 (assuming half-duplex). Here is a link to the Belden cables. Belden RS485 cables

ionut.b Posts: 289 Rating: (3)	As far as I understand, 4 wire is a more robust configuration than 2 wire, meaning that is more resistant to noise. Anyway in this case the 4 wire configurationis required by the client. Thank you Smiffy for the reply.
