Communication with Java

I've double checked al the FAQ and Forum and couldn't find the answer, to this question: Can I communicate with a WinCC Flexible application using a virtual port? i.e.: port 9999 The basic need is to use a Java application to send and receive the status of the variables in the WinCC soft. I needed to create a software, that can communicate the SCADA soft with a non-industrial protocol, the MSNP (Mobile Status Notification Protocol). I've developed a sort of Server that, everytime it receives a certain message, it reads the CSV files that the WinCC application constantly updates, and then send the data, through the MSN Protocol. Everything works perfectly fine so far, but I can't offer the user the possibility to command the SCADA using this Java application. I thought about it, and as in many App to App communication, I could use, if there's any, a virtual port. This would allow me to send data to the address: i.e.: localhost:9999, and change the set points, for instance. Let me know if there's a solution for this issue. Sincerely yours, Nelson Angel Secchi
