Blocked users in TP

GeHe001 Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	Hi all, with the new Panels (TP177B, MP270) is seems that a user gets blocked after giving the wrong password 3 times in a row, nothing new so far I guess. But with the older types, it was possible to release those users when the panel was shortly set wihout power. With the new types we always have to reload the projects user administration to release the blocked users. Is there a way to prevent user blockage? Grtz, GeHe

Grtz, GeHe If you use WinCCflexible2008 SP1, you can avoid the blocking of users by setting the "number of unvalid logins" to 0.

On the other hand, the solution IBN offered looks perfect, we're gonna try it soon. Thx!

ranr_mids Posts: 289 Rating: (19)	You could try assigning the User View page to a button with a specific keypress, and then 'hiding' the button (either making it invisible, or putting it behind something else) The keypress should still activiate the button, even if the mouse pointer cannot interact with it. Just make sure the key combination is not one particularly common...
