OS not showing CAS Trends.

graeber Experienced Member Joined: 12/16/2006 Last visit: 11/23/2025 Posts: 56 Rating: (2)	Hi, My problem is : When the OS servers send the trend data on the CAS server, some of the trends of the sent data are visible on the OS servers/clients only for 1 week. And prior to the 1 week is a straight line on the trend control. info: 1- The project has 2 redundant servers and 1 CAS server 2- The OS servers hold the data for 1 week and the rest on the CAS server. 3- There are about 7000 trend tags(long term) on the servers and only about 100 of them have the above mentioned problem. 4- The problem started after a typical OS download (full download) 5- The data of the problematic tags can be accessed via storage plus on the CAS server (data exists on the CAS but for some unknown reason the OS servers can't get it. Please help I have sent some databse files to siemens support but since loooooooooooooooooong time and there is no answer yet. The customer is loosing patience (und ich kriege Aerger von ihm). ABN Posts: 212 Rating: (12)	Hi Graeber, I can find that all the data for the first day(most left in the trend) is a straight line. But when u look into below table is also shows that data is real means its neither uncertain nor interpolated as its without "i" and "u" postfix.So the data is true. Also Looking at these trendsI understand that there is also issue of Time Syncronization. Please check time sync settings and its performance first and revert.

JohanV Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Good Day We have had the same problem on our site. We have got 5 redudnant server pairs, 27 clients and a CAS server. When the problem started we re-installed the CAs server, but this did not help. NB. Please make sure you detatch the data on the CAS server before re-installing. We hten had a look at all the possibilities. Two things helped. The 1st is to make sure that there is no backup paths for the tg and alarm logging archive. This is for the CAS and OS servers. When we completed this and did a complete doenload to all we re-started all the OS servers - one by one.
