MM440 required to operate 70Hz to achieve correct motor RPM on 60Hz motor?

Cherymax Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	I have an issuewitha 460V, 60Hz motor, connected toMM440drive, not operating at the proper HZ/RPM. I found theMM440 drive running at 50hz with theanalog in signal @ 9.9V. The drive should have beenoperating at 60Hz with the 9.9V input. At 50 & 60Hz the motor rotated too slowly, to get the motor to turn at the rated RPM we had to operate the drive at 70Hz. Why 70Hz on a 60Hz motor??? I didn't make the changes to the drive myself... sorry I don't have more technical info. We commisioned this equipment 2 years ago and haven't had any issues until now.

mechatronics85 Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	dear sir, don't care about the frequency of drive if 50 or 60 hz just connect your analog signal to analog input of mm440 and you have to set the maximum frequency and minimum frequency for example if you set your maximum frequency at 100hz that mean when your input signal equal 10v the drive will give this value for driven motor

Cherymax Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Yeah but... When the drive is "feeding" 60Hz to a 60Hz motor. The motor should run at the rated RPM? We had to run the drive at 70Hz to get the rated motor RPM...

mechatronics85 Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	you have to cheak out frequency from drive if it give you 60hz and the motornot running at correct speed then you have to possible case 1- you have problem in your quick commissioning for drives you have to cheak motor speed rated and type of motor 2- if your quick commissioning correct then you have problem in your motor.

You mention that this motor was commissioned 2 years ago, did it work as you expected then? Cheers!!

Cherymax Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	The equipment has worked great for 2 years. I just happened to discover this issue as I was doing some troubleshooting... The issue turned out to be parameters: P0760 was 83.50 now 100 and P1082 was 50 now 60 Just to complicate matters a bit more...four pulleys were the wrong diameter . Thank for all your help.
