connection with PANEL PC870 by modem (phone line) from outside by my laptop

reza khorram Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi dear J_Bell i have a PANEL PC870 and a touch panel which connected to panel pc and it is working well and there is aexternal phone modem which connected to a TS ADAPTER and TS ADAPTER is connected to a REPEATERE and from REPEATER connected to the PANEL PC870.now i want to make connection with PANEL PC870 by modem (phone line) from outside by my laptop .please tell me what i need in my pc to make connection and check the program from outside? please check the attached file for picture best regards Attachment SIEMENS.pdf (220 Downloads)

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, as you seem to have even 2 PROFIBUS Connectors at your Panel PC you seem to have a Win LC plugged to your PC, don't you? In both cases I see no problem to do PG Programming over the Teleservice Adaptor. On PC side you need the Teleservice Software V 6 or higher. The Teleservice Adaptor needs to be preconfigured by the Teleservice Software before you may use it with the modem. (Init-String and other settings have to be done first) The Teleservice Software establishes the connection between the PC with the modem and the Teleservice Adaptor and its Modem. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I am sorry about confusion abouttheTeleservice Adapter, itis the device you need and you have. The order # for the TS-Adapter II would be 6ES7972-0CB35-0XA0. The Teleservice Software you need would be the order # 6ES7842-0CE00-0YE0. This is a single floating license for one PC. Best regards J_Bell
