Block Icon deleted after compiling (if it´s moved to a different .pdl)

bocatadeatun Posts: 163 Rating: (3)	Hi experts ! I´m working with a PCS7 v7.0 project and i´m facing problem with the next action. When i drag and drop a FB (f.i. PID_CTRL, MEAS_MON...) into the CFC chart and i compile afterwards the block icon is derived following the plant hierarchy. This action is executed properly. But the important problem comes when i try to duplicate this icon in the .pdl where it has been created or when i try to duplicate it and move it to a different .pdl. After compiling the OS this icon is automatically deleted !! I know there´s a way to solve it by not deriving the block icons (unclicking this checkbox in the properties of the picture in the Plant View), but this shouldn´t be the right way to do this cause you may need to do some changes in that screen later on and need to compile deriving the block icons. Could you please assist me with this issue ? Thanks a lot in advance,

From "@MEAS/1" TO "@MEAS/OTHER" or something like that.. The alarmhierarchy will display this larm in both pictures. If thats not wanted, change property "relevant" to "no" The wizard will not delete or change udos that are not recognized. Look in the templatepicture in udo-property "type". It is also in cfc-chart. Drawback: If this object is renamed or deleted in CFC, the "other" udo will still be there causing troubles.

Modifying the "Type" property would have also been my suggestion.
