I have a problem as my VFD is continuous showing 20mA when i am giving more than or 4ma

Cool_rishu Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have checked it by configuring the analog setpoint2 by 0-10V. It's working fine but when i am configuring it for 4-20mA it's showing the 20 mA only... Right now i have configure the analog setpoint1 for 4-20mA and 3 for 0-10V.It's fne. But why this problem occouring.Is the current converter got shorted due to dust or may be another reason??

Graeme Platinum Expert Joined: 6/4/2008 Last visit: 11/25/2025 Posts: 1521 Rating: (327)	I am working on a job where six IO modules (A5E00684817, or to quote the actual MLFB 6SE6400-7AA00-0BA0) showed the value 10 in both indices of Parameter P752 even when no input is supplied to terminals 3&4 or 10&11. (Physical measurement of the terminals 3&4 showed 0.4VDC) The IO boards were mounted in drives 6SE6440-2AD35-5FA1 (v2.11) Both analogue dip switches were set to OFF, and all other parameters were left at default. All other drive functions are OK, for example the digital inputs, but they are optically isolated. The drives were powered up with no wiring other than the power supply. Any ideas other than the boards are damaged/defective? Graeme
