Set PROFIBUS CP to OFFLINE per Program

I am experimenting on a very simple redundancy configuration, Customer insists on double CPU (redundant), but not on redundant PROFIBUS, and we can not use ET200M because we only change controllers in an existing system. So I thought of either using Package SWR or building my own, but thats not the topic. If i do not use ET200M with two IM153-2, one for each of the two PLCs, only one of them can access the DP Slaves, the other one shows errors. I managed to solve this by using FC12 (D_ACT_DP) to deactivate the Slaves of the passive PLC, but thats somewhat difficult - if i have a slave that is not responding, the FC12 hangs für about 1 min. I know of some other PLCs, not SIEMENS, they use similar configuration and somehow manage to switch the passive CP to "offline" state. I wonder if this is possible with S7-300, either with CP342-5 or integrated Profibus? Any suggestions appreciated! Best regards Hans

With the CP 342-5 there is the possibility to change the operating mode: CP 342-5 -- How can you change the PROFIBUS address or the operating mode of the CP 342-5 in running operation?
