error when copy process tag type from one prj to the other in palnt view

T41 Posts: 88 Rating: (1)	Hi all, In plant view, tried to copysome process tag type from one project to the other.Some were successful while some got the following error message: The block type "CH_AO" is different for in the source and target. The "CH_AO" is used in the process tag type in the source project. In componant view, I copied the FB ("CH_AO") from the source project to the target project. The FB should be the same now. When I tried it again in plant view, still got the same error message. Any suggestion? Thanks! T41

You were migrating an old project to a new one? My experience is little, butI think you mustuse the IEA assistent, because then PCS7will convert from old project to new project.

T41 Posts: 88 Rating: (1)	Hi, I want to test some blocks from the old project. Then I open a totally new one and tried to copy the blocks from the multiproject lib. As I mentioned some blocks were copied successfully while the others have the error. Any more suggestion? Thanks! T41

You can do this following steps : Open any CFC ----> Options ---> Block type ---->Select "CH_AO" Transfer Offline block folder to Chart Folder, then do entire compilation. hope this will help you
