Grazzer Posts: 76 Rating: (1)	Hi everyone! In my project in alarm_oneline I want to show in what area alarm is generated. And PCS7 automatically give me this option - in point of error I receive the name of the 1st hierarchy. But I want to see in this place the name of the 2nd hierarchy. What I need to do? thanx Upd: Could OS AREA give the solution? What does it mean: OS AREA and Origin? Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi rusgaz, The Origin is the tag ($$AKZ$$) or the Source column and OS Area ($$AREA$$) is the top-most level folder name in the Plant Hierarchy. This area name is also shown in the overview buttons in WinCC, in the User Administrator, in the Component List Editor, Picture Tree and OS Project Editor. The sub-area information does not show-up anywhere except in Picture Tree. So to show this information in the alarms you need to explore if you can extract it from the Picture Tree (via script). Sub area will be displayedcorresponding colum in alarm cntrol. regards
