mmyers Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello We have two servers. Onone of the systems that has the software installed we are getting an error when the application is opened. The error states "The group display hierarchy is not up-to-date" and it does not show any reading from the plant. Could you assit in resovling this problem? In the WinCC Explorer ii we go to Tools---Logical Connections----Status, it shows Disconnected but nothing was changed or removed from the system. Could you assist?

Ohhh Whats Occuring! Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	hi mmyers, it seems to me that there are lots of bugs in PCS7 that seem to surface randomly. I still have problems with both V6 and V7.1 systems disconnecting from servers and navigation menus not working . Usually this happens when an element of the system is restarted for whatever reason. The only reliable way i have found of getting the system back up and running is shuting it all down (not the AS) while a multimillion dollar facility is running and restarting it. If that doesnt work then compile and download both AS servers & clients. Its very heavy weight and a pain in the ar** but noone i speak to in siemens seems to know why this happens. im sorry thats not much help, just thought i should add my frustrations into the mix
