PROFINET and Modbus

Lets say that you have a ET200M with a IM153-4 PN interfacewhich will communicate via PROFINET to a CPU 416-3 PN/DP. But at the same time you want to connect, via the same cable, a PAC 4200 via MODBUS TCP PN. Is this possible??? that two protocols travel through the same medium, something tell's me that it isnot and thatthe protocols will crash and create a mess. Can I solve this using one of the available ports of a CP 443-1? Thanks in advance, Cheers

scorpio888 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	If you have CP 443-1, you can use the ethernet port (RJ45) to communicate via TCP/IP. Just make sure both devices have RJ45 ports. I'm not sure about the same cable with 2 different protocols. best regards, scorpio888
