danlee Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	We are in the process of migrating from ProcessSuite to PCS7 v.7.1. I am trying to configure the alarm horn, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. Here is what we have in our configuration: 3 operators, each operator has 4 areas that they need to acknoledge alarms for, with one of the areas a common area between all operators. I want to play the same alarm sound for all alarms, wheather it is an alarm, warning, process control, etc. Also, we have approx 8 APACS controllers, as an fyi. How do I setup the horn config? I cannot find any useful help information on configuring the horn. Help please!

danlee Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the help file. I did not have that. I have looked at it, and I think I am pretty close, but it still is not functioning properly. I seem to only be getting alarm sounds initially, and they do not continue to play (if I do not acknowledge the alarm, I would assume they should continue playing until the alarm is gone....). I attached some screen shots of the horn configuration tool, both from my server application and my client application. Also, below lists how and where the tags are built.I really think my issue is with my client horn config, specifically in the multiple acknowledgement by the following tags.... I am unsure if this is what I use or do I use the group? I am wanting if an operator acknowledges an alarm or the alarm horn for their area, it will silence the horn on all machines in which he has rights too the alarm.
