Accessing masterdrives online from Step7 project

Goran_ Posts: 141 Rating: (0)	WHat exactly does it need to be set, in order I can double click the masterdrive from Step7 (embedded in project), and after it is open in DriveMonitor, to be able to go online? I use Teleservice using USB cable for connection. TS Adapter is set in PG/PC Interface. Currenty I have one project which doesnt have PG configured in MPI/Profibus NetPro, and I am able to go online, but on another project, which has PG/PC configured on MPI/Profibus diagram, I am not able to establish communication with drive. Why is this happening? If I delete PG/PC. no difference...

nhdrives Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Pre-conditions for routing to drives with CBP2 (Masterdrives / DC-Master) - all Simatic-hardware must have the feature "Routing"; to bee seen in comment in hwconfig - the drives must be selected in hwconfig from DriveES-profile - the profibus-boards in the drive must have the feature for "Routing"; this is true for CBP2 (NOT CBP) in both 6RA70, 6SE70. CBP is 6SE7090-0XX84-0FF0, CBP2 is 6SE7090-0XX84-0FF5. Make the configuration in Netpro for the PC, from where you want to access the drives; compile it and load configurationinto the CPU.

The strange thing is, in the project where I have configuration for the PC, I cannot access the drive, but in the project where I dont have PC configured in NetPro, I can access drives without problem. The only difference that I found is, in project where I can not access drives, Teleservice is connected to PLC through MPI, while in the project where I can access drives, Teleservice is connected to PLC through DP. Is this why I am unable to connect to DP nodes? If so, what can I do about it, what type of cable is the best option, so I will be able to access drives online, no matter od configuration?

Goran_ Posts: 141 Rating: (0)	Hello Hristo, thanks for replying. It was the Assigment option in question (PLC properties). I did assigment before, but now I was sure that this was the problem, after reading the steps needed for routing. In my case, it does not work unless I open masterdrive, go online, and after I receive a message that connection cannot be established, I open profibus in NetPto, and then it establishes connection automatically in Drive monitor. Prorably NetPro at that moment assigns someting to PG/PC interface, or something, I am not sure what exactly, I will look into these days.
