Hello Guys,

I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping to get lots of information and sharing mine...

I'm working with PCS7 7.1 and I'm confused about (maybe) a simple fact:

I have one PC wich I connect to a S7400 and I don't know exactly how to configure this... In the manuals it is not very clear as they are talking about a ES and OS (two or more PC's).

The following I did already:

1. Add PC station
2. Added a "Wincc application" -> for single project only?



I would like to know the additional settings to configure my PC as ES/OS. I want to control the process from only one PC.
For example: Do I need to configure the "Path to the OS target computer" and in my winccproj folder there are now four names:

- OS(10)
- OS(11)
- OS(13)
- OSC (3)
- SCADA_ES

I think this were OSfrom my "testing time". could I just remove them?
In Component view, only my PC exists with the OS: SCADA_ES

Hope someone can clear this up for me....
