I have some doubt hove to call the TSEND correctly in my program, under normal circumstance the send function works fine.

I have attached the NW where I activate my send function. As I have read the help for the function the REQ, is sending the telegrams. When it is set to “1” (RE) . I should then be able to use “ERROR” or “DONE” to reset my “TcpIpFunction.SendTLG” so my program can send more telegrams.

But some it seems the TSEND doesn’t reply with “ERROR” or “DONE”. Then my “TcpIpFunction.SendTLG” will always be “1” I have fix the problem with a time the will reset the bit after 5 sec and resend the telegram.

Can anyone explain for what is wrong, because can understand why it is necessary for me to use at timer to verify that the send function hasn’t reset my “TcpIpFunction.SendTLG” bit.

(I have also seen this scenario with the Bsend for some years ago, but never figured out what the problem was)

Hi guys

I think I'm having a similar problem...
I use TCON to connect to a printer, and once I receive TCON.Done, I set TSEND.Req

I expect that TSEND would set Done once the data has been sent but it doesn't seem to be happening (also not getting Error or Busy). The connection is still open and active. The data is however being sent as the printer is operating.

I have version 2.0 of the function. Is this the latest? (read from header in Simatic Manager)

Any ideas why Done would not be set reliably?
