Profibus DP Communication Problem with Siprotec Device

explorer Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I have a problem communicating with all 7SJ602 siprotec device (Siemens)via profibus dp network. The gateway will only display diag. The gateway which is AnyBus-X gateway was not the problem because I tried communicating it with a Simeas-P Power Meter (Siemens) and there was no problem. There's not much option with the slave device (7SJ602) with regards to configuration of the RS485 DP Module. The only available option is the DP address. The rest of the option is for fiber optic communication. Hope someone could help me on this Thank you.

explorer Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I am using RS485 (Profibus_DP)to connect to AnyBus-X Gateway. Yeah I already contacted Siemens EA, Im still waiting for there reply. I was hoping that someone had already encountered this problem before. Thanks anyway.
