MAS21: Sinaut MD720-3- problem!!

luciferC4 Silver Member Joined: 1/25/2006 Last visit: 11/27/2025 Posts: 257 Rating: (62)	Hi, Last year I worked on one project where I used S7 200, MD 720-3 modem, Sinaut SC, as is example MAS 21 for control three pumps and send data to remote control room where is installed sinaut Sc and Win cc flexible as client. In that moment all system work properly. Communication is established, data send from station to remote control room, SMS work. But, before one month communication stopped. Modem, after AT mode don't back to GPRS mode. But problem, maybe is in the next: during initalization of modem, the first blink S led slowly, after that Q led slowly and when should blink C led, Q led start blink faster. C led is off all time. After few seconds S led is ON but Q led still flash. Can someone tell me where is problem. I called provider but they told me that SIM cards is OK, and no problem in traffic. I tried to update firmware but without success (I find manual for update firmware). For connection I used serial cable (COM 1 port). Can someone tell me can I do reset unless C led is OFF? Thanks.

Please refer to http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23117745 Regarding the LED´s behavior everything is fine till the Modem log into the Providers GPRS Network. But it´s not able to connect to the server. Did the customer make any changes on Central Station side? regards Lif

On central station was one intervention on adsl router and some technician close all ports. Now appropriate port for communication with remote station is open and I got connection. Thank you a lot.
