Teaming 3Com IE and built-in IE

mhike Posts: 41 Rating: (2)	Hi Everyone, Is it possible to team "3Com 3C905TX-based Ethernet Adapter" and built-in ethernet adapter (Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet)? If yes, How to do it? what are the necessary things to have? But if not, can you recommend a particular brand of ethernet cards that can be teamed? Cause right now I am testing 2 NIC in replace with 2 CP1613 in order to perform redundant connection on the S7 fault tolerant system. Attached here is my hardware configuration. Please note that its not the actual configuration on my program. Its just for representation of the hardware design. I think teaming function isn`t supported by SIMATIC NET PC-Software. And of course it will need extra configuring and script writing. Darius ....Script is not so reliable as 'real' hardware solution. Mu suggestion if you want real (hardware) redundant system don't make any exceptions and follow Sergio Hormeda' advice. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
