automitch Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	I have a problem by calling multiple times in the same project the same fuction that i have already built. When i call once the function everything goes well. When i call it more than once and e.g the status of the output bit changes with the same status to all of the function that i have called What i am doing wrong ?

Is it function FC ? Or it is still FB ? The most common problem can be incorrect using '=' function, for example: [code]=Q0.0[/code] If you call multiple times function like this you might get into trouble. If I didn't understand you correctly then please be more specific.

It sets an output (Bool it could be Q or M or DBx.DBX.X) for a specific time and when this time elapsed resets the output for a second specific time. When i call once the function everything goes fine. When i call more than one time the function all the outputs of the function follow the changes of the output of the first call !!!!

Denilson Pegaia Diamond Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 12/28/2025 Posts: 4434 Rating: (1487)	Hi Problems with multiple calls normally comes from: 1 - Monitoring limitation: there is no problem with the block, just the limitation of monitoring: the STEP 7 Basic just shows the first call evaluation of the block. Alternative: show the watch table to see if the block runs. 2 - Using temporary or global variables as "instance variables". All values that must be save differently on each instance, should be placed as input/output or stat variables.

automitch Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	when you are watching the blocks online in ob1 or in other subroutine you think that all the outputs change their status together but in the watch table the things look different. Pegaia was right. Thanks a lot!!!!
