For example, if a protection device or RTU is disconnected, from PASCC/WinCC you can "substitute" the position for circuit-breakers, alarms, set values for analog inputs. When the communication to the devices is re-established, the substituted value is erase and updated with real values from device. Is this what you want? Mike J
