Hello hazem, If the LAN cable is unplugged from CP side then you can diagnose it by LEDs. You will see that the TXD and RXD LEDs have stopped flashing which means no data being transferred to any partner. However, this CP can support up to 64 connections which means that if you have more than one connection and one of these connections you have has been cut from its side, the other connections will be still active and the TXD and RXD will be still flashing. If you are lucky enough and haveS7-connection between your PLC and your SCADAthen you can use SFC87 to diagnose the connection status then you can trigger an external pilot light or alarm sound when connection gets lost. Best regards. H-H |
