WinCC Flex 2007: Device could not open file

Kanag's Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Hi I have a problem in WinCC Flexible 2007 at the time of downloading the project to TP177B Mono. The error message is "Device could not open file" and the download is aborted. Ihave tried"Save and optimize" function, deleted temporary filesand also rebult the project. I couldnt succeed then. Can anybody guide me how to solve this problem? -Kanag

Migration Man Posts: 4 Rating: (3)	You may be using an unacceptable name for the project, for example HMI is not allowed.Try to change the project name to your name for example. Save compile and then attempt to download.

FransGvK Posts: 3 Rating: (1)	@ Stevie: That's the one that did it for me. I had the same problem, and this solved it. Thanks! One would think though, that if it is not allowed to name a project HMI that WinCC Flex could tell you more clearly and earlier in the process

I tried to make OS update with Factory reset settings also.But,the result is still the same. I am using "Mobile_OP_TP177B_V1_1_1_0.img" for OS update, is this a valid image for updating OS of TP 177 B PN/DP. Thanks in advance. Regards,
