315-2 PN/DP controlled with three PCs with WinCC flex runtimes?

andrej5 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hello, I need to control small application (up to 200 IOs), but client wants to use THREE PCs (ethernet) for process control.I assume he wants equal control possibilities on every station. My question is: Is this possible with WinCC flex? Is it practical? Or should I try to focus on WinCC (bigger one)? What would be the downside of using Flex (I can see the only downside of WinCC 7 - and this is price of the licence, which seems to be much higher, than price of Flex) - for example - is there control limitations, when for example one PC will lock-out controls of second PC, when operator is working on it? WinCC flex "new project" wizard says, that when I choose more than one station, the second one will have limited control capabities - in what way? //EDIT /tf/WW/en/Posts/9333 in this forum I found, that it should be possible to have more PCs connected to one controller, but they don't mention downsides.

But then there should be some locking and interlocking program in CPU. Otherwise it would be possible to interact with the process from three sides. Best regards, Wizard
