Cannot configure isochrone mode for Masterdrive / DC Master CBP2

In this mill we have to give isochrone mode for Masterdrive DP slave. I tried to configure this but couldnt find any settings for it. Can I configure it using any other way? Regards, Wave

But the problem is if I dont use isochrone mode, the counts have no significance as they are read at different times (asynchronous). I tried to configure this isochrone mode in PLC hardware configuration but there is no option for it. Regards, Wave

KSN Diamond Member Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 12/30/2025 Posts: 2221 Rating: (282)	Hello. Are you sure your CPU S7-300 support isochrone mode? I think that CBP2 does not support isochrone mode (read information in the HW Config, at the bottom of catalog). Hereis the manual about isochrone mode.

Maybe you can replace it with the new one (6ES7315-2AH14-0AB0) which has OB61 in its operating system to support isochronous mode. Best regards. H-H

This CPU indeed supports OB61. But again the question arises, I cannot set the CBP2 GSD on isochrone mode. Also, in the hardware configuration file that I had previously posted, I cannot set a PIP for Sinamics drive. I presume that a PIP number is needed for using OB61 with SFC126 / SFC127. Regards, Wave
