problem with OS server stdby

jenie Experienced Member Joined: 10/3/2006 Last visit: 7/15/2025 Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	Hi experts, I have PCS7 6.1 SP1 system which includes redundant AS, 2 OS Servers, 1 ES, 4 OS Clients. All were working for 3 years already, until I made changes recently when I included tags from a WinCC Flexible project via opc. Download was successful, everything OK, except for OS Server stdby which only shows tags from OPC connection but none from the AS connection. Tried to download again the configuration to the OS Server (stdby) PC but had some errors that it cannot proceed with download. But download of graphics and changes were possible. I attached the Station Configuration window, and I see an 'X' mark on the WinCC Application (stdby). Attachment os stdby problem.jpg (148 Downloads)

zerepegro Posts: 183 Rating: (8)	Hello jenie; So, if i understood, the connection is configured but 'disconnected'. To configure Station Configurator try in ES: right click over Simatic PC Station (OS redundant)=>PLC=>Configure.

Please try this in the OS client that you mentioned, but remember to check the Simatic S7Protocol suite once the compilation is complete. Regards, Grim Reaper.

I was successful in OS Server (stdby) -> PLC -> Configure, but not in OS Server (stdby) -> PLC -> Download. Error messages like, "no connection found" appears everytime I do this. I even tried changing the ES's PG/PC Interface from PC Internal Local, CP1613(iso), etc. but still cannot errors appear during download configuration.
