K245 Motor temperature.

Dopeynl Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I'm getting the motor temp of the drive in my PLC by sending it over profibus into a DB. The value i had to set in P734 of the drive was K245 Motor temp. The value is displayed im my DB and it's : 7296. The value I read at r0009 is : 114 degrees Celcius. What do I need to do with the value to get the correct value ? Thanks for the help. You could make one function HEX->REAL: L #Word_hex_Inp //WORD (PZD word) ITD //WORD => DINT DTR //DINT => REAL L #Real_max_out //Nominal Value (256.0) *R L 1.638400e+004 //4000h = 16384 /R T #Real_Out In your case with this value is receiving 114... That means, you will get 16384 count for 100%... For K245, 100% means 256°C... You are getting count 7296.. so your value will be 7296/16384 = 0.4453 So your temp is 256*0.4453 = 114... You are getting count 7296.. so your value will be 7296/16384 = 0.4453 So your temp is 256*0.4453 = 114... Thats what you are getting in r009... I hope this is clear to all..
