Routing WinCC flex

Yakov Posts: 31 Rating: (1)	Hi guys, wondering if anybody has used the routing feature to download wincc flex projects to HMI's on a network. Has anyone encountered a max number of HMI's you can have routing to, as i have a network with 4 HMI's and only 3 will allow me to use routing. thank you

Yakov Posts: 31 Rating: (1)	Hi, Yes i mean routing ethernet -> profibus. I have a DP network and an Ethernet network on a particular PLC. An engineering PC station is on the ethernet network, goes to PLC and from PLC there is a DP network, with 4 HMI's on it. 3 are OP170's and 1 MP270. I can use routing sucesfully on the 3 OP's but not on the MP270. I tested MP270 on a small test network i made with spare PLC and routing works fine so i know the MP270 works OK, it just wont work on the real system as the other 3 panels will. There is a second PLC and network also, which has 2x OP170's and 1xMP270, and routing works fine on all three of these panels on this network. so i am not sure why on the first network i mentioned with 4 HMI's, the routing will not work for the 4th HMI? Thanks

Are you sure configuration is correct ?

Yakov Posts: 31 Rating: (1)	I understand, i wouldnt think the number of panels would matter. I am very sure that my configuration is correct. I wanted to prove this to myself so i set up a test network with the panel that didnt work and it worked ok. the same type of panel is on another network i set up and it works fine too, so i know its not a limitation of MP270... In wincc flex i have the option of S7 Ethernet with routing enabled available for the non-workin panel, just when it comes to establishing a conection it times out with no response. i am not sure what else to try. thanks for your reply.
