Compatibility WinCC Flexible 2008

I know that PCS7 and WinCC Flexible are not compatible as the SQL version is different. But what if I installed only STEP 7 V5.4 SP5 SCLV5.3 SP5 CFC V7.1 SP1and PLCSIM V5.4 SP3 componentsfrom a PCS7 7.1sp1installation disk and then WinCC Flexible 2008; do you think the combination will work?
