Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Chris, Could you attach the license logs under "C:Program Files\Siemens\WinCC\Diagnose\License.txt"? Is there any chance the Redundancy wasactivated on the computer which generated the backup you installed on the other machines, which don't have redundancy?

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Chris, To save the project with another name you'd need to run the Project Duplicator (on Simatic -> WinCC -> Tools). You're thinking of installing Redundancy to un-check it?

Do you think if I opened the renamed one I could remove the redundancy from that then migrate that version to the machines with the license problems? What's the best way to remove it fully? -Chris

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Chris, What happens when you open your project in an engineering station with the redundancy option installed? Is the option un-checked? If it is checked, then un-checking in should de-activate redundancy, and generating a new backup for your stations should probably work. If it is already un-checked, then you could try duplicating the project and then migrating it to your other stations. Tell me how that goes.. Hope it works. Best regards, Danielle

Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	One other thing to try is to delete the .DCF file. This stores information regarding client/server setup and redundancy settings so might be relevant. Just close the project, delete the file and open the project. The file is automatically recreated. sonduskaisgod Posts: 33 Rating: (5)	Thanks for all your help, all is well! I went back to the PC that I was copying the project from, disabled the Redundancy option then copied again. All License issues are now resolved. At least for now, I rebooted 3 times and left the project open over the weekend and no pop up messages.[:D] Thanks again, -Chris
