VB Code conversion to S7 CP 340 RS485 ASCII compatiable

Gosai Posts: 61 Rating: (0)	Dear All, existing system : VB code ( wonderware SCADA PC) Printing to a specific MARKEM make 2 headed printer with the use of attached VB script. Up gradation: 315-2DP+CP 340( RS 485 - ASCII) has to pass this data to printer. can anyone help me on how to pass this data to printer OR how to generate a string format for the printer. can I use this VB code straight way in SCL ( by changing some syntax and functions)??? Slettvoll Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Ifthis still an issue, I have a working solution for Markem-Imaje 9040printer connected PtP to a CP340 by RS232C. In principleit works justlike your VB-program. It takes a text stringfrom PLC memory andthen calculates and add all the necessarycontrol bytes. But of courseit looks a bit different in Step 7 STL than in Visual Basic.
