Hi all,

I`m asking about solution for USB detection script. I have script which checks if USB is present, but I need to press button in order to do it. I need to modify this and I want constant checking of USB presence. The problem is that I don`t know really how to deal with it, I thought that I can maybe create some infinite loop to check it ( USB script works on following principle : tries to write file in place where should be usb stick, and then reads it and then compares if its the same), but I don`t know how to make such loop. I am newbie in PLC programming so thats why I need a bit help :D Also if anyone have better solution for this functionality then I`ll be glad to get know it. Thanks in advance guys :)

You were right, about my idea :) Was kinda stupid :) So what I checked is that even if I make USB presence check each 2,5,10 secs then according to my script, program writes reads and deletes one file every 2,5,10 secs. Although it was working pretty fast cuz there was no loop inside, this solution was not good at all. So I stayed with USB check button. But I`m just simply curious if in WinCC Flexible, I am able to connect somehow USB detecting feature from Windows CE with my program or is it impossible?
